DALLAS No longer breaking stories in high heels and skimpy outfits, Lauren Jones has signed off from the KYTX-TV "Eye of East Texas" news team and returned to modeling swimsuits.
Rival stations in Tyler weren't entertained by the monthlong ratings stunt by Jones, the star behind the upcoming Fox reality show "Anchorwoman" and a former hostess for World Wrestling Entertainment.
She spent June traipsing around the east Texas city in tight tops and a miniskirt, hunting down scoops for the CBS affiliate.

Great eyes, nice face, but too polished, too thin, and too airbrushed/fake looking for me.
LOL. The Thumper hits #522
NOT GUILTY!!!!
Who cares what she says!!!! Perky Catie is horrible and she sure doesnt look like that
Like the fist of an angry god...
Should be [considering the picture], “And that’s the way they are”.
Just think of it as icing!
No, I think of it as too much. She’s not ugly, but its clear that she has to cake on the makeup to get the “look”... which I have never ever found attractive.
Guh. I have just never found that “glam” look attractive. Give me the fresh, pretty, girl-next-door any day. Yes, I married a tall, statuesque blonde, but she’s so good looking that she doesn’t have to wear a stripe of makeup unless she wants to, and, as for the inflato-boobs, I have no desire to sleep next to a woman who is packing a pair of emergency flotation devices.
Agreed. That poor girl needs to scrub her face. If she wants to approver her complexion, she should spend a couple of hours working in the garden.
She looks like the “St.Pauli Beer” Model in that white blouse.
Yummm.....beer!!!
It’s probably pancake makeup, which goes on very heavy. She’s in television, so that wouldn’t be a surprise at all.
I note that makeup is a major problem in the world of HDTV:

“Many makeup pros are literally spray-painting their clients’ faces, applying a thin layer of makeup to cover the surface with thousands of tiny dots (think ink-jet printers) that conceal flaws and don’t smudge. Others are working more closely than ever with lighting directors, hiding extra lights in cabinets and other secret places on a set so actors’ faces are bathed in more brightness and look softer. “I am always telling Christine, ‘Keep your chin up. Stay in the light,’” says Bunch.”
