Good Grief, how many days into the cycle now, and we still ain't kicked in enough to pay the light bill? I thought I was the poorest Redneck around, but some of you must really be hungry! What are you going to do if this forum folds up? Where else do you have a voice, where anyone cares what you think?

My total income is $919.00 a month, and I don’t do food stamps, just too damned proud. I’m also too damned proud to let JimRob pay for all of the site from his pocket, even if I can only send a little bit.
We ran off a lot of the big spenders, didn’t agree with their politics, now, it is up to us, to keep this place running.
Forget about one damned steak, open a can of corned beef hash, and send the difference to keep the roof over our heads.
No one has contacted me, no one has asked me to do this, but I’ve watched enough fund raisers to know that this one is running behind.
Do you know that on some forums the level of your participation is based on how much you kick in? That isn’t the case here, but the bills have got to be paid.
I’m gonna shut up, got in trouble for my mouth just last week, don’t want to make it a habit!

Hi everyone...
Remember recently when FR was down? Remember how it felt to not be able to get onto the site? Worried whether it was going to come back up.

Wouldn't it be a shame if that happened permanently?

What would we do without FR?

Where we gather to pray for others, and ask for prayers for our own needs.

Where we come to show our appreciation to the troops for all they do to keep us free.

Where we gather to visit with FRiends, both ones we have met in person and ones we only know online.

Where we go to read our news articles and discuss how it has affected our real lives.
