My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

It’s is a love poem -the true form of love, without the make up. It’s just so human, so readily recognized by all who have ever loved another.
To: All
The castle dragons in their flight ruled the realm both day and night by legions they occupied the air guarding everyone inside her walls from ground assaults and ugly toads.
Their graceful flight in open air nary a scale touching ground the castle dragons in control kept the wizards in a daze as in and out of foggy mist they sailed on through in lofty pose as twilight entered unopposed.
The guard remained until one obtained a writ to break the dawn. The sound was loud from a thunder cloud as the castle woke to see the castle dragons one by one alit into their cave.
There they slept while the castle kept the business of the day. Dusk awoke the owl to the dragons he spoke and ordered them to fly away.
Day by day, left by right the winged dragons took their flight lifting, flowing, soaring in the wild evils door to not open its poison within. Castle guards they be then and now in a invisible realm seen to those who look for dragons in the clouds.

Thanks to Hank for this one...
Ultima Thule Dedication to G. W. G. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
With favoring winds, o'er sunlit seas, We sailed for the Hesperides, The land where golden apples grow; But that, ah! that was long ago. How far, since then, the ocean streams Have swept us from that land of dreams, That land of fiction and of truth, The lost Atlantis of our youth! Whither, ah, whither? Are not these The tempest-haunted Orcades, Where sea-gulls scream, and breakers roar, And wreck and sea-weed line the shore?
Ultima Thule! Utmost Isle! Here in thy harbors for a while We lower our sails; a while we rest From the unending, endless quest.

Meg, I love Cowper’s paintings. Another winner.
He is into mythical females, and folklore. Makes it fine for me. I never hit the ground. ;)

My sister and her husband are here visiting for a few days. Yesterday they ventured out on their own to visit downtown and the museum. Today they are out, on their way to Girdwood/Alyeska/Portage. *HUGS*
