My Dragonfly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I am remiss, I did not mention Lady Jag, who brings her eye for beautiful graphics and superb eye for poetry into the Lair. Today's message and graphic are very lovely.


My orange day lilies are blooming now, I do love those old standard flowers from childhood. They grew along side the old country roads we traveled.

I just got back home from getting groceries, what a chore, it is very hot out today. My house is comfortable and cool thanks to the a/c.

Good morning ladies.
By request from MEG33 the main item is:
Raspberry Crepe Suzette's,
eggs any style,
Texas sized potato crisps,
bacon, sausage, grits,
cinnamon sticky buns
Columbian coffee.
Additionally, white powdered sugar for the Crepes,
salt, pepper, ketchup and Tabasco sauce,
for those that like to spice things up.
