Gee, thanks, Mom.
Also appreciate the very excellent coinage “Loserdopian.” Did you make that up all by yourself? ‘Cause if you did, you must be, like, smart or something.

Knee jerk is the rule of the day here (generally) but so is passion. There are things people are passionate about and, as with the immigration bill, have shown that passion, put into action, can make a difference.
I do think, however, that many are too quick to throw a lot of people under the bus over the 1% they disagree with when they’ve been with us 99% of the time.

Well, you go ahead and vote for Rudy then, the rest of us will vote for a conservative, I.E.: Duncan Hunter or Fred Thompson or even Tancredo. If you want a liberal in republican clothing, plus a liar AND a coward to boot,in office that is your business, as for me: Give me a conservative or give me death, to paraphrase a great American Patriot.

This is Sparta!
GWb has given us not much to rally around, so we have to rally ourselves, ditto the deaf Seante leadership, the House wiht Blunt is the only Conservative body that is in line wiht Conservative principles, don’t like Schiavo?
Well life should be protected, even in a lost cause, it never should be that easy to euthanize anyone.

I would hardly refer to Paris Hilton, Anna Nicole Smith, and Lindsay Lohan as rabbits!
Well - maybe.
Anyway, I don’t think the Democrats are as united as some think. Just wait until more rumors come out about Al Gore wanting to enter the race.

Should we look past the appointing of Supreme Court judges who can now take back the Courts or the tremendous strides W has made in avenging 9/11, taking out Saddam Hussein and letting the leash off of the CIA & FBI Well gosh, Pollyanna, if we thought for a while we could list some good things Bill Clinton did, too. Who cares? My allegiance is to the U.S. Constitution, not to the well-being of some political party.

There is a great deal of sense in this post, and I say this as someone who is pretty well through with this president.
While most of the Republican “leadership” is pathetic, so is much of the Republican or formerly Republican base, for quite different reasons.

You will be abused, but I agree with you.
I have been repeatedly slammed for daring to defend Bush when he does something right.
BTW for all like me who had to look it up:
“Loserdopian” has something to do with “Conservatives abandoning the Libertarian Economics which formed the basis of the Reaganite Economic Revolution”
