I love barns. We had a really neat big one growing up and I’ve always missed it.
I’ve borrowed your snowy barn photo for next season.
Don’t look at me, I haven’t gotten that far. I’m so much better with the brush, it’s too frustrating to trying painting graphically.
You’re on your own and doing well. Please keep sharing.
I have no idea SL as I do not have a photo phone but like LJ said sometimes you have to their sites first.

Sorry Lib...that’s too techie for me. Good luck!
Wow, there’s a nice pic to try painting. Have you tried????
Nice photo there, Cardy. Scouring the net again I see. That would be fun to color...;)
I haven’t tried, but it is perfect for painting.
I just tried an acrylic painting...but it seems to have bubbles everywhere.. I’ll post it when I want to scare ya..lol.
I’ve never worked with acrylics much, for real or digital, so it’s all new to me.
Oh..I tried an oil today with a couple horses in it. They are not too good, lol. I don’t do animals or people much. Like I said..I’m not a good drawer. Hell I can’t even clone them well.
Digital acrylics? How do you get bubbles with digital acrylics?
Acrylics are what I use physically as I’m too allergic to turps and oils. I loved oils and I like acrylics better.
When you paint, don’t look at things as people or horses, but as shapes of light and dark. Forget it’s a horse and concentrate on the shapes the colors and values make and then paint that.
Easier said than done. I repeat it over and over to my students, some of them take years to catch the concept, some take to it instantly. It makes for good painting.
She can’t do nuttin’ ta me!
Who's to say you couldn't take it?
Wet week, gran, but the rain was needed badly. I understand that 18” fell here, almost erasing the 25” deficit.
I'm working on it. Only a few billion millennia to go.
I wish I lived closer to you, because I'd take lessons. I've never painted on canvass for over ten years because of no ventilation. Maybe you'll talk me into trying Acrylics sometime. Of course that means lugging all my stuff back and forth...sigh. No matter what Cardy says, I"m not rich! ;) Feel free to critique. (I know it's a horrible tulip, but I was focused more on painting... One step at a time.)
Anyway..I tried free lessons online for watercolor, and here's the first one I made all freehand, no tracing of the pic at all.
I think it’s great that you got more rain, I hope we got some of it down south too.
Pup...let’s not get into millenia. The next few years would be great, as long as we’re half ways functional. ;) “Arthur” is creeping up.
Smooooooooooooch!
Run Gran, run!
