Apple juice tantrum causes plane to make emergancy landing

A child's tantrum onboard a Delta commuter flight forced a pilot to make an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport.
Chopper 10 was over the scene.
The forced landing was caused by a fight over apple juice.
A 4-year-old wanted apple juice and when the stewardess didn't get it quick enough, the child threw a tantrum, NBC 10 reported.
The Delta commuter flight landed around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The flight originated in New York and was headed to North Carolina before the incident.
Passengers were spending the night in Philadelphia, NBC 10 reported.
Authorities said there would be no charges filed in the incident.

There are instances where it is OK to give your kids a smack. Here is one.
After that, it would be physical restraint with a hand over the mouth. If anyone accused me of being too brutal, I’d advise them that they could have their travel delayed a day.

Authorities said there would be no charges filed in the incident. Did they poll the other passengers on this flight to see if they felt so forgiving?

Everyone on the plane should sue the parent or guardian of this brat for compensation - if the story is accurate and the delay was due solely to the commotion this child was causing.
I have a 4 year old and she shuts up but quick when I use the right tone of voice.

Certainly the Pilot-In-Charge was just following procedures. In the event of a cabin disturbance, you get the plane on the ground first and sort it out later.
Frankly, a four-year-old raising Hell would be a pretty good diversion.

It is amazing how many brats out there are now. I am appalled every time I see they way some kids act and parents responses to the way those kids act.
Everyone on the plane was inconvenienced and the airline was out all that money for what? -- a snot nosed brat wanting his apple juice because he is taught the world revolves around him or her.
