I thought an Opus was for leaving FR. People leave or come back to the GOP everyday.
To: angkor
I'll of course stick around on FR, but as a committed conservative and not a Republican. Welcome to the (increasingly growing) club.

Today's vote for cloture on Amnesty People should not stand down because of this misinformation.
Today was a procedural vote. The real cloture vote is Thursday. There is still lobbying time.

Interested to hear how others might be thinking right now. Ok. I don't recall Karl Rove giving you permission to leave the GOP Family.
CLEMENZA: Don Corleone -- you once said that the day would come when Tessio and me could form our own Family. Til today, I would never think of it. I must ask your permission...
VITO CORLEONE: Well, Michael is now head of the Family, and if he gives his permission, then you have my blessing...
MICHAEL: After we make the move to Nevada -- you can break off from the Corleone Family and go on your own. After we make the move to Nevada.

One small problem with your action, not that I disagree with the sentiment. You will not find a candidate that will be acceptable coming out of the RAT party. If you think you have, then look again because they would be lying. Instead, you need to be active supporting the true conservative in the primary for the Republicans if you want a changce for them to make it into office. To do that, you have to be a registered Republican in most states. If not in your state, then you did the right thing. If you see a real conservative outside the republican party, by all means vote for him or her. Work your arse off to change the two party system into a multi-party system? Absolutely. But do not let a RAT president pick the next justice for the Supreme Court with a Senate that will rubber-stamp the nomination. That may require a hold-your-nose-vote in the general election but when all else fails, consider SCOTUS and the difference the current court made on their treatment of McLame-Feingold.

While I vote nearly exclusively for republicans, I am not one. I am a conservative. Republicans are not necessarily conservative, they are just more conservative than democrats, socialists and commies.

That’s no reason for you to leave this site. I agree with your frustration. They don’t care about our country, or the people who elected them to office. They sure remember everyone’s address and phone#, when it’s time to squeeze money out of folks :(

You MUST copy both the White House, the Republican National Committee, the state Republican party of your home state, and if possible, a local Republican chapter.
Getting it out on FR is good, but also considering copying those people, hard copy, by mail from Cambodia.

As often repeated:
We will have much more success pulling the Republican Party from the control of the globalist pseudoelites (and geting working men and women coming with us) than in forming a successful new party.

I’ve been on the PA website to see how to get a card to change my registration. Looks like I’ll have to call and have one mailed to me. I would stick around to vote for Duncan Hunter in the primary, but the Republican primary will be settled before PA votes, so may as well switch now.
