I know I’m late, but that breakfast sure does look good.
We have just had a gully washer. WOW, it came up fast, lasted about 15 minutes and there is more coming in. But that rain was so loud on the skylight we had a hard time hearing anything in the kitchen.
If the weather clears, I’m going to pull all of my zuccini squash plants, they have quit producing. They produced a lot when they were at it, but not now. The yellow squash is going bananas so it’s still safe. My tomatoes have a lot of green ones, but no red ones yet. I’ve picked one green banana pepper, Roomey has been picking his okra. I won’t touch them, they have small sticky spikes. My fairy rose did another number on Roomey when he was mowing the front yard, he claims it’s trying to kill him. I have to prune the fair around the flag pole.
Tonight I’m going to fix some fajitas, my first try. I usually let our foreman’s wife do it. I’m not into Mexican cooking.
I love hearing about your success with your garden.
I love hearing about your fairy rose....my neighbor has a fairy rose bush growing along her wooden fence..it is so pretty. She is elderly and has a gardener that keeps it trimmed back.
I have lots of green tomatoes ...but none showing red yet.....a friend offered to fix fried green tomatoes...I have never tried them. I think I will wait for the tomatoes to ripen.
