I heard that interview. It was very obvious that he does NOT read what is proposed for legislation and has no clue as to what he actually votes for. He appeared to make up his mind based on an emotional reaction to the title of the legislation.
I couldn’t believe he’s lasted 40 years in office.
Toby, while iam thriled to hear about TJ, I miss hearing about Ali. HOw is she doing?
Proofreading is a good thing... sorry. I am typing over a book that I should remove from the desk.
Apparently Buckets is a walking advertisement for term limits. (pros and cons exist on both sides of the isuue)
At any rate, Buckets certainly will have given Sean’s ratings and tune-in numbers for today a HUGE boost, LOL!
I wonder if Rush will mention the incident, I hope he does.
I also saw on FNF, I think, that the new legislation cuts off extended family members form coming in? No, it wasn't FNF, it was WMAL.
I am very interested in the cloture vote this morning. I pray it fails.
I intend to listen to Rush inside today while stitching on a quilt. Multitasking, you know.
I am currently cancelling my Real Audio account and then I will call Senator Sessions office again and then I will call yet another office somewhere and confirm JT’s arrival dates, as best as I can.
Revealing news given by Sen Reid, his grandmother came over here from England as a girl. How bout that.
Now, how will this thing go today, pass or fail.
See that Reid is BEGGING, now lets see which pub will sell us out.
They are on the “Cs” in the first time through the roll call.
Sessions - NAY
Shelby - I don’t think he voted yet.
Lott voted in the affirmative.
Did you know that is my last name? I don’t think we’re related, at least we don’t attend the same family reunions, but hubby’s family is from Mississippi. I’m glad I’m not related to that jellyfish.
Don’t count on Lot, he is a turncoat, married to Washington and his Dim friends.
over the top.
Talk is down here that the ‘powers that are’ in the pub party are looking for someone STRONG to run against him.
No, I don’t think he is. He has always been against amnesty. It is his position on Iraq which is newly changed. I’ll call him after the vote.
Shelby just voted no; Olympia Snow - aye.
Laura Ingrahmn has just announced the BILL HAS BEEN STOPPED!
Ayes — 46
Nays — 53
Cloture on Amnest FAILED! THE BILL IS DEAD.
FWIW, Voinovich voted NO! Perhaps Hannity got through to him.
I should have said that the “BILL IS DEAD - AGAIN!”
It is like a vampire; you must drive a stake through it’s heart, but a silver (I think) stake, not a mere wooden one.
No, I turned off during Harry Reid. Sheets Byrd is so irrelevant, like Swimmer Kennedy, that I don’t pay any attention to him speaking.
