Not only are the rats running for cover with their tails between their legs, but some republicans too. I was shocked when sessions lost his courage and stood along side the weakling chicken S... lugar to pull out of Iraq before the job is finished. Lugar will probably vote to allow illegal aliens to become citizens of these United States tomorrow and bring all of their in-laws and out-laws with them, including their 4th cousins of distant marrigages. I am so sick and tired of these gutless elected servants for their non courage, I cannot express it. They sit there on their high horses, above those they are questioning, including military men, with more courage than any of them ever had, as if they were royalty. Asking stupit questions I could have answered when I was a buck -—— private. AND these MEN who have spent their lives studying what may happen to these United States if someone attacked, have to put up with these assenine questions. Americans are going to have to bite the bullet and get rid of these traitors or go the way of Rome and Greece. “So long=====have a great day citizens, we’re riding high. You remind me of a day in Germany. I was in a German Immersion class. I arrived at 0600, parked my car in a place guarded by a fellow who’d been a POW in Mexia, Texas. He loved Texas, came here every year for vacation,
cause he’s acquired many TX friends. At 1600 my class was finished. I went to my car and there were NO KEYES in my purse. I looked in the car, and there they were, just pretty and shiny, hanging in the ignition. I was STUNNED, I’d done something SO DUMB. I called Roomey, and he went to my apartment, got the extra set of keys. brought them to me, with a promise of dinner,...later. Then he looked into my VW, reached through the OPEN window and fetched my keys. To this day he claims I did this to ruin his “other” date. Really, my ex-POW friend kept my car so clean, my window always looked the same. It never dawned on either of us to check the window....my ex-POW and I were stunned. As it turned out, My ex-POW friend called his wife, and told her what had happened, and to meet us at this really neat restaurant, Die Oelen Speigel, a fantastic place. Lo and behold, Roomey was still wandering around, having called his “other date” and cancelled, met up with my friend’s wife and in they came together. We had a wonderful small dinner and conversation, with wine and all the atsomphere,
we all drove home in our cars. About 2200 hours Roomey called to tell me I’d done that on purpose.......She had called and didn’t want to see him anymore. Well.....you know the rest of the story, from then on he chased, until I caught him. He was worth the run. LOL.
Nite All. Till tomorrow. We’ve had a heck of a rain storm. It lasted almost 2 hours. A real gully washer.
Hopefully my tomatoes survived. The rain was hard and heavy.

Quite the deal about Buckets Voinovich being clueless about the Fairness Doctrine and senate vote outcomes on the Hannity Show yesterday. Here's the most idiotic quote that Buckets made:
The senator complained that some of his constituents have attempted to "intimidate" him by saying they would oppose his re-election if he voted for the bill.
"You do not intimidate George Voinovich," he said. "During my 40 years in this business, I have always looked at the pros and cons of each piece of legislation and made a determination. If people don't like my decision, they can express their will during the next election."

Hope to get a call today from the attorney to tell us if the paper work has arrived, won’t be long now. Just think, another one to spoil (by me), of course I am already doing that, we raid the candy closet every morning and once I fixed him popcorn for breakfast, D went bonkers over this one.
Good Morning everyone. There was a 5 inch rain just South of us yesterday. We only got a few drops.
There’s more gardening to do here today. I’m putting another layer of Preen down, and remulching everything. It takes forever. I haven’t put down deep mulch for a few years and it is time to do it. The mulch has broken down into rich black soil. Very conductive to germinating weed seeds.
Another hot one today, so it's early morning gardening for me, then doing errands during the afternoon hours.
Fellow gardening friends, watch your backs! Weeds grow even faster when you're not looking. LOL
