And don’t forget, a ‘dab of this’
Well, she turned out to be like that, dangerous to put a young girl as a partner to a young police man....if you get my drift.
That is automatic, and pasta, don’t forget to plant a few rows of that too, heard the price is really going up on it this fall.
BLUE RIBBON BANANA BREAD (my name)
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. ripe mashed bananas
1 Tablespoon white vinegar
1/2 c. milk
1) Sift flour, soda and salt
2) Cream shortening, blend in sugar and add eggs one at a time beating until fluffy
3) Add the flour, soda and salt with bananas, milk and vinegar. Beat well.
Bake in ungreased loaf pan 60-70 minutes at 350 degrees until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
(Note that the recipe uses baking soda and vinegar instead of baking powder)

pb, thank you - it looks like a wonderful recipe!
Thanks!! Excitement here today.
Congratulations on your recent acquisition! Best wishes for the whole family.
It is wonderful, we are going to give this kid a christian upbringing, a loving home with joy in our hearts.
Oh, that sounds yummy. Sometimes I cook my zuccini with tomatoes, a little garlic, 2 or 3 cloves, onions, a couple of basil leaves, salt & pepper. My 3 boys love it, they even put it on their noodles, much to my chagrin, the first time, I thought it was a side dish. Now it falls in the main course category.
I see that Sessions is joining Luger in his stance against Iraq, Sessions said ‘when Luger speaks, folks listen’. Shocked to see THIS Senator bail out too.
What a lucky little boy to become a member of such a loving family. He is truly blessed. Congratulations grampa. Ali will now have a “little” brother, he’ll eventually drive her nuts, I know, I have 3 “little” brothers, they still drive me nuts from time to time and we’re all over 50. Little boys are born to drive older sisters almost over the edge.
You know the saying, garlic is good for the heart, blood, body and makes one sleep well. Sleep well, but alone.
I’ll bake the whole garlic and then squeeze out the garlic, spread it on an onion sandwich that has lettuce, salt, pepper and mayo. When I can get some tillamok cheese, I’ll use that instead of bread, fantastic.
At one of the casinos here they specialize in Garlic, thinking now about going to get a bunch there.
I just called Senator Sessions office in Montgomery and left a message on his machine. I asked for a clarification of his support for our troops in Iraq or does he join Senator Lugar in calling for a withdrawal of our troops thereby ensuring a defeat. I also asked if he would like the front lines in the War on Terror back in New York, Washington and Pennsylvannia, or does he think the front lines should be in a foreign country. I left my name and cell number where he could reach me.
I am mad.
I will not let my son fight in Iraq with me not fighting for him here at home.
This war must be fought on two fronts, and we must engage the enemy both foreign and DOMESTIC!!!!
Garlic is also a natural mosquito repellent. They don’t like the way garlic blood tastes. You don’t smell so good to them either.
Evening one and all. I’ve had just the loveliest day today. I came into work at 5:30 am this morning after my walk. I was going to shower here (more privacy than at the center where I walk.) I took my cellphone out of the car, pulled off my walking shoes, and shut the car door to go around and get my bag. Uh oh, locked my keys in the car. $55 for someone to come and get them out. I sat around at work until 7:30 where I finally got into work. My work ID, purse, medication, money, and shoes were in the car. My extra set of keys were in my purse, locked in the car. LOL.
My family is going out to dinner this evening in SLC. My dad had a spare key, so they dropped it off. I now have shoes and clean clothes. :)
Have a good evening everyone.
LOL, I give garlic to Beanie the pup, to ward off the pesky
mosquito, plus a bracelet that I stretch out and put around her neck. doesn’t seen to bother her.
Well, we don’t have too many members of our elected servants who have served in our military, so I’m not surprised that some of them are turning chicken about our helping out the Iraqis. They seem to turn tail and head for the hills. I just wonder what they will do when we’re hit again. Do they actually think if we leave Iraq and Afphaganistan that the muslims will not attack us? Heck NO, the muslims will take our leaving these countries, as America with no courage. Actually the American Public is willing to win this war, it’s our elected servants who have NO COURAGE.
