Man....I can’t believe I’m agreeing with the man who kissed another man on the lips.

There are many cases of whole families killed by a family member including self after starting to take these drugs. Lawsuit is filed...big Pharma settles with out of court multi million settlement with clause that requires them to keep their mouths shut.

“ANTIDEPRESSANT CASUALTIES”<<<<<
I know some of these links are old but, my God, how long does it take to figure this out.
Andrea Yates was on Effexor, she loved those kids, it was the meds. that killed her children.
So sad, so very, very sad that they now give anti-depressants for everything from bed-wetting, nail biting, hormonal changes, quitting smoking etc.
It has been shown also that more seniors are committing suicide and guess what, so many of them have been put on anti-depressants.
Write to your Senators and tell them that you want a black box warning put on these drugs not for only up to age 24 but all across the board.
These drugs are killing Americans.

What a bizarre lead sentence — talk about a reporter wearing his or her bias on her sleeve!

JOHN Travolta blames school shootings sprees on mind-altering prescription drugs rather than poor gun control. Good grief. Another Tom Cruise trying to play doctor?

I have little use for Travolta or Scientology. But when you're right you're right, and I think that Travolta is right about the matter of drugs and school shootings. It's also refreshing to see a big time Hollywierd celebrity rejecting so-called "lax" gun laws as the cause of these senseless school and college massacres.
I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for some other Hollywierdo lefties like Baldwin or Clooney to blame something other than the "easy availability" of guns for the mayhem and bloodshed that IMHO Hollywood's ultra-violent films have had a big hand in inspiring in deranged young minds. In the first decade of the 20th century when the government began compiling reasonably accurate crime statistics there were no violent films being shown like those that are made today, and anyone old enough and well off enough to have four or five bucks to spend could buy a cheap but functional handgun or .22 rifle at almost any hardware store in America. But at that time the US murder rate per 100,000 population was about 1/10th of what it is now.
Some of that increase in murder and other violent crime is no doubt due to factors such as changing demographics, the breakdown of the traditional family, violent street gangs, and the absence of a father in so many homes. But it would be difficult to convince me that Hollywood hasn't played a significant role in that increase, particularly within the last 10 or twenty-odd years.
