Study busts myth that women want less sex Once in a relationship, both genders have similar attitudes about sexuality By Jeanna Bryner
Updated: 3:49 p.m. ET June 19, 2007 Bachelors might have sex on their minds more than their single female counterparts, but once in a committed relationship, men and women have similar attitudes toward the act, a new study finds.
The results, published in the April issue of the journal Sex Roles, reveal how sexual stereotypes, in which guys want to go for it and gals tend to resist, dont hold when romantic feelings come into play.

Take my ex-wife for instance. She wanted lots of sex. She just wanted it with someone other than me.

“When Mr. Right shows up, however, women ditch society-imposed gender roles, warming up to sexual pleasures, the researchers found.”
The difference is, women react to Mr Right, men react to Ms Right Now. A lifetime of experience and two marriages has taught that surveys of college kids produce results wildly at variance with life over 30.
There.
I fixed it.
I just ate! I’m gonna have to skip dinner now too.
From what I have been reading on the internet lately it seems that a lot of the women that do want it the most are employed as elementary and junior high teachers and are partial minors.
BS
Mens sex drive is mostly physical. Men need sex like they need food. Love without sex leaves then unfulfilled.
Womens sex drive is mostly emotional. Women need sex like they need love. Sex without love leaves them unfulfilled.
It seems obvious that if a couple share enough love and enough sex they will be a long way towards a good relationship. If the basic differences aren't acknowledged there will be little understanding.
I think women have the easier task. If a women gives her mate as much sex as he wants, even if she is "faking" her own desire for sex that often, the man will be happy. It is very difficult, however, for a man to "fake" the emotional responses that many women desire from their mate, even if he wants to please her.
Take care of each other and celebrate the differences, even if you know you'll never really understand each others "drives".
I guess believers of that myth have never seen "Girls Gone Wild".
I understand that, in most marriages, couples favor the doggie position: he sits up and begs, she rolls over and plays dead.
Sex? What’s sex?
Take my ex-wife for instance. She wanted lots of sex. She just wanted it with someone other than me.
I wonder if she knew my ex? LOL!
My wife has cut me back to once a month. But that’s not so bad, some guys I know she’s cut out completely.
LOL! Very true!
First time I’ve heard that one. Thanks. I’ll steal it.
