 My Dragonfly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky
 I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
 through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
 my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Oh, don’t do that to me! We’re out of steaks from the special store. I had thick boneless pork chops but really wanted red meat. Is that so wrong?

Wanting red meat is not wrong. Were those thick boneless porkchops of the stuffed variety with loads of sweet, delicious apple sauce?

Love the fuschias..We did not need the rain! We’re soaked..with more on the way..I thought we were through storming for the night..but I just saw another lightning flash. The 5 day forecast doesn’t look good for sunny days.

They were very thick, no apple sauce, just meat.

   | Your Element Is Earth |

   | You excel at planning and strategizing. You could be a champ at chess or Survivor.

Well grounded, you are able to be realistic and rationalize.
On the inside, you have a hard core. It's tough to phase you.

You are super productive, and you are able to think anything through.
Focused and super charged, your instincts are a good guide for your next step.

    Do you see that!?!
It says I’m DIRT!!!
I mean, what’s it say about me, that I’m a clod?
A mere part of the landscape?
Prototype mud?
I may have an earthy nature, but that’s no reason to get down in the dirt and be insulting!

 Chronic pain
 Six weeks running
A disc about the size of a nickel
I'd pay a million dollars to replace it
 Sleep taken in snippets
Pills taken ever six to ten hours
 The patience is wearing thin
 Limbaugh was addicted to oxycontin
 Clooney contemplated suicide
 Like a hundred migraines
Those around you who do not understand
 Get angry
Just because I am walking and talking
 Does NOT mean I'm ok
If you think your patience is wearing thin with me
You have no idea how much of a struggle it is
Not to wish this experience on you firsthand
Even if I wanted to disobey my Lord
Lash out and strike you on the other cheek
The numbness and weakness of my arm would not permit me
 Chronic pain
 Just try to understand
As angry as you are with me
I am angrier with myself for being
 Broken

   | Your Element Is Fire |

   | Your passion and emotion are as obvious as the brightest flame. You make sparks fly, and your passion always has the potential to burst out.

You are exciting and creative - and completely unpredictable.
You sometimes exercise control, and sometimes you let yourself go.

Friends describe you as sensitive, spirited, and compulsive.
Bright and blazing with intensity, you seem mysterious and moody to many.

Hello and Welcome to The Dragonflies’ Lair!
You have my every sympathy! I know back pain very well.
I hope you can find some relief soon. This kind of pain wears one down to a very short fuse.

Dirt is not a bad thing JOhnn
it makes the veggies grow
the steak you like
was fed on grass and hay,
which sprouted from the dirt.
We gotta have the dirt you know
it’s what our homes stand upon
like fire and ice, the dirt is nice
a basic element needed to sustain
a body of people in a sea of grain.

Good morning everyone.

Have you seen this little one
zooming in and out, of flower
trumpets like a bird who hums
 his way about?

Did you know this is a moth who
 looks like a baby hummer
the first time I saw one
 I thought I was a dreamer.

Very interesting graphic Tom. I think it means it’s very hot in your neck of the woods.
It’s hot here, it was 66F when I got up, has gone up ten degrees and will go to 87F by afternoon. High humidity as well.

To: MEG33
    Very lovely Meg, thank you.
Did you get some thunder storms last night?
All quiet here for now, it will change though for a cool down from thunder storms.

To: Soaring Feather
It hit 91 yesterday, with high humidity. Supposed to be the upper 80’s today, with high humidity.
