My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Last year was dry..We had already surpassed last year’s rainfall in May..I’ve grown accustomed to it already and now pout if the rain doesn’t fall on my yard..LOL We do not need heavy rainfall. There have been deaths from flash flooding this year. We are under a flash flood watch.
I have cardinals, house finches, chickadees, titmice and a beautiful red bellied woodpecker right now..Others come at different times of the year..I saw a large tom turkey two weeks ago in my neighbor’s yard..I have had bluejays, mockingbirds, crows..and carolina wrens this spring on occasion.
I also have raccoons come and feed at night regularly. right by my sliding door and have seen a fox feed several times this spring.
This is a great nature watching spot ...right by my computer.

I hope that you and your family and neighbors will be safe. Flash floods are dangerous and unforgiving.
You do have a lot of creatures around your house. They must be entertaining to say the least.

My pirate name is:
Bloody Mary Roberts

Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. Two things complete your pirate persona: style and swagger. Maybe a little too much swagger sometimes -- but who really cares? Arr!
