One rumor I’ve heard is that it’s going to be about “the Ancients”—but no telling, I guess.

“It’s not like an antiseptic version of humanity sometime 500 years in the future. [SG-1’s] Jack O’Neill [Richard Dean Anderson] was a guy who everybody could relate to, and his reactions to the more fantastic elements of the series were the reactions the average Joe on the street might have.”
He hit the nail on the head. I loved one of the earlier episodes where Amanda Tapping asked how Jack had McGuyvered something like that.

My 5-year-old is a Goa’uld. There’s really no other explanation for him. He reads Greek, levitates, and uses mind control on his little brothers.
My teenagers (who have seen through Season 8) say these Ori are bad news, but I don’t see how they could be worse than Pat.

Very nice. I’d heard rumors about this, but nothing concrete. Sci-Fi won’t pick it up. They’re trying to kill off any high-priced, high-quality programing they’ve got. It has something to do with the parent company sending all its money to the tanking NBC news stations.
