It’s in the 90s here and HUMID. I checked my little garden today and watered. My little tomatoes are coming along beautifully, as are the big ones. Tomorrow, I’m going to pick my squash. Gardening is great. The weeds are terrible.

I’ve had cellulitis twice, once in each leg. Both times the sites had seepage. The second time I fell, there was a minor scrape on my knee. The cellulitis actually ended up down at the front of my calf. Very strange.
When I went to the dr, he was concerned because it was so bruised (I fell and my leg hit the curb full force.) They kept asking me how I got the bruise. After about the sixth time I realized they were trying to see if someone had beat me up. No, I’m just clumsy.
I had the TV on this morning as I was getting ready for work. C-Span had Kitty Kelly on talking about her book about the Bush family. She’s a nasty piece of work. I was getting all worked up about her comments, then saw the date of the review. 2004.
The worst thing she could say about the Bushes was that they treated Sharon Bush “roughly” during her divorce from Neil Bush.
It just amazes me. You know that Kitty Kelly will NEVER write a book about the Clintons. And Kitty Kelly also wrote that horrible book about the Reagans. When I was in the bookstore last week, I couldn’t believe the number of books there were on the Kennedys. And that family, my gosh, a Senator who left his girlfriend to die in a car underwater, a rapist, the father who was pro-Hitler and ran illegal booze during Prohibition, JFK who was not faithful at all, and I could go on forever. /rant
I just read that the Senate blocked the “no confidence” vote on Alberto Gonzales. I had to wince at the headlines today that the “top” Republican was going to vote for the “no confidence” vote. Arlen Specter. “Top” republican my eye. I wonder if President Bush ever regrets campaigning for Specter...
I have a taste for celebrity biographies...I'm about to read a biography of Grace Kelly, but they should be factual, tasteful, and well written.

My garden is looking great, except...for the annual salvia...blue and purple...I planted. Every year I try some form of annual salvia, and it’s a non-grower. But I keep trying!
I am sure that this latest attempt at amnesty does nothing to stem the tied of illegal entry into the United States.
Reading Michelle Malkin's article on how Miss USA was treated horribly in Mexico, I wish we would just send all the illegals back. If they want to dis our country then go home, or take back their own people!
What's wrong with Mexico getting their act together and start building a democracy? We are being kicked around, and have an administration that seems to have no problem with it. Darn it all let's take care of Americans first.
If illegals want to come into our country, do it the right way.

I’m in an area where we have a lot of Mexicans. Some are legal and some are not. They speak spanish......they expect us to understand them. I will not. In fact about 3 years ago I was invited to a baby shower. During one of the games, I was laughing told “Do you understand the instructions?” I of course said NO. They all laughed. One of the women told me I would have to learn spanish. I said NO, I already know 5 languages and because I no longer travel, I speak ENGLISH, as each one there should learn. One woman asked, “Are you not interested to learn
spanish?” I told her No, I was living in America and our
mother language is English, so I didn’t have to learn spanish. As a consequence, I’ve not been invited to anymore Mexican baby showers. lol.
IG. just keep in mind the presstitutes of the left leaning screaming media are trying to pretend the killer, booze running, womanizing, kenneky clan are ROYALS, ROYALS...remember camolet? Remember the story? the presstitutes have not read the story. LOL A year or two ago the media actually did refer to the kennedy clan as “America’s Royals”.

Molly, “Tripley” is a board game that can be played with quite a few players, using a deck of cards and the game board. We play just for fun using pennies. It’s a family favorite, even my Dad liked it. You can learn a lot about a person around the kitchen table playing a game, don’t you think?
