Are you here yet?
I had the tomato plants inside for awhile... put them outside and they were hit by frost. I brought them inside and then replanted them. Knowing that tomatoes root from their stems I thought they might come back. They did and are the same size as the others I bought at a later date.
How’s your day going?
I've about got the outside work done that I'd wanted to do...pulled out some pachysandra along the back of a bed, and I had to be careful not to disturb my flowers planted in front while I pulled...
Also cut down an azalea...something has gotten to it, and I need to find out what 'cause the rhodo next to it is also affected, so I took some its branches out also.
Raven, thanks for the link. I'll look up a site I get free material from too and get back to you. The books in the catalog they send me are so intriguing, but there's never enough time..
Oddly enough my TN cousin who I mentioned to you last night called me this a.m.
Jemian...???
FReeper LS has posted on the Ohio page that he's exiting the site....
Back to work...
You’ve been busy. It is a such a nice day.
Are you still short of rain? I think we've overcome our deficit with the storms we had yesterday...
Are you going to watch the Belmont? I need to check the time...
Yes.
Did we miss it?
Oh wait. I was reading the Seattle Times.
complete TV coverage of the 139th running of the Belmont Stakes on ABC beginning at 5:00 PM Eastern time (check local listings).
My long, lost cousin sent me an email -—turns out her son is in Knoxville. Actually he’s in the navy and never there, but his family is.
The art museum didn’t fall down - I just saw it.
I’m off to check out an italian restaurant I spotted nearby
Raven, here's The ISI which has a Free Market section, and so forth. They offer the one magazine which is free, and the books which aren't...
Good pork..good game...doesn’t get much better, right? ;-)
So - are the Amazins’ chopped liver around here, or what?
Oh man, nothing better than smoked pork...it was 9lber and all but a few slices are GONE...the overall concensus is that PORK FAT AND MY NEW SMOKER RULE.
I still have to work a little to perfect it but damn it was GGGGGood.
I do too. My aunt had a set. My sister received a set from her mother-in-law, and didn’t know what she had. Yep, she sold it in a garage sale, some years later. They were moving from KS to CA, now she could kick herself. Knowing now what she had, she’s said, I’d have made room for it, even if I had to get rid of something else.
Neets, for a moment I thought I could smell your pork here. LOL
Oh, I can just smell the delicousness of your pork. I love fatty pork on the bbq. I have a shelf about 8 inches over the cooking area and sometimes when I’m doing a few steaks, I’ll put slab bacon over the steaks while they’re cooking and let the fat help the steaks. Both turn our great, good smoked bacon on sandwiches, mmmm good. My firebox is offset from the cooking area so my steaks are slow cooked.
What time did you take your pork off the cooker? What else did you serve with it, besides hummingbird cake? I love hummingbird cake. Actually, I love just about anything edible, that doesn’t get me first.
Protect your little green orbs from the squirrels. I’ve had to put mesh over my tomatoes. One little guy was on top of the mesh, just shaking the heck out of it, so I hit him with some water spray. OOOOOOEEEEE was he upset. He sat on the green, just chattering away.
Woops, #33 is for you lysie. Sorry Nita, eyes and fingers were not in synch.
