The system that hit parts of Wisconsin Thursday night hit Central New York last night. Close to 5,000 people were without power. Luckily no injuries.
Europe: The Decline of the Left Stratfor
Good morning, Molly! Yes, that word, disconcerting, that you used describes it very well. At least I had Bill Bennett’s show playing in my headphones to calm my nerves.
Thanks... yep, we're happy to have everything intact.
In Thursday's morning edition of our local paper (The Stevens Point Journal) was warning parents to keep children inside the house that day. (The storms weren't due to hit until after 3 p.m..) Me thinks they over-reacted just a tad.
We were all outside that day enjoying the windy conditions, and mild weather.
Bumpity bump for the weekend thread. Posting and running here but a Goooood Moooornning to everybody!
Good Morning lysie, Yes, thank you, I’ll have that breakfast. I’ll just sit here and enjoy it.
Your shoulder roast sounded so good, I thought I’d do one too. We’re having company tomorrow. I’ll inject the roast with melted habenero jelly, then I think I’ll grill some yellow and zuccini squash, ears of corn, and follow that with frozen green grapes and walnut cheese.
How long will your roast be in the cooker? I know it is going to be sooooo yummy.
I think some muslims are trying to jerk our chain. They have made a lot of headway in Europe and they are now trying to use our freedoms to change us. Such as prayer rooms in every airport. We Christians don’t have prayer rooms in the airports, so why should they. They are no more special than we are.
I love the dishes. My Gram had some of them.
well it seems I over estimated the time...the meat is reading 150 already so I imagine in an hour it’ll be done
I put it on at 7, added two new charcoal batches and it’s tasting and smelling sooo good already
Yum!
We missed the game last night because we don’t get MY9. We will be watching this afternoon, tho.
I want some ice cream
Till, you mentioned your tomatoes and how you had some tiny fruit on some. Guess what? I have a couple teeny green grape tomatoes. In this area, we normally don’t get our first yield until early to mid August. I’m so excited!
Toby! Your grits are getting cold.
Are those the tomato plants you had inside first?
