Actually this list itself ain't bad, it's just most of the songs that are [deleted]. But not all, of course -- there's plenty of yacht rock to love. And who better to rank these tunes than VH1? There must be some holdovers from before the celebreality pox. Tomorrow night, Video Hits 1 will air their televised countdown of the Top 40 soft rock tunes, but go ahead and take a gander now and see if they hit the Marx.

There is NO rock in 70s “soft rock”. It is fern bar music for the post-rock set.
It is lounge bar music. NOT rock. Not soft rock. NO rock content at all.
I think the same of some of the prog rock nonsense that came from the late 60s and 70s. That ain’t rock and roll.
And they forgot Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds. The list is clearly incomplete.
I'd probably opt for Agnetha.
