My Dragonfly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Can’t even take the new med tonight. It’s a sulfa warning. The last two sulfa warning prescriptions sent me straight to the hospital near death.

Pharmacy agrees. They’ll give doc a memory lesson in the morning. I’ll be feeling like crap for a while longer. Add to that, the special battering in my diabetes test kit died tonight.

I’m trying to decompress now, wondering if ibuprofen might help this headache.

Oh shoot, so sorry, when it rains it pours for you.
Oh I have been allergic to sulfa drugs for years. I nearly croaked on it too.

I just hate that you are so ill..I pray you may find some relief dear(((Lady Jag))).

Sulfa makes me sick. I haven’t taken it since I was a teen ager..but it’s one I always list when I change doctors.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Okay, I’ll grab the ibuprofen.

Be careful about sulfa warnings on anything you ingest. He raised his voice and shook his finger as doc said my next exposure will be fatal. Same for you.

Thank you, Meg! I’m running out of room for meds on my desk and need this new one. Been adding 2-3 new Rx’s a year. The pharmacist said there’ll be something I can take for the diabetes.
