The soldier son of talk radio relationship counselor Laura Schlessinger is under investigation for a graphic personal Web page that one Army official has called "repulsive." The MySpace page, publicly available until Friday when it disappeared from the Internet, included cartoon depictions of rape, murder, torture and child molestation; photographs of soldiers with guns in their mouths; a photograph of a bound and blindfolded detainee captioned "My Sweet Little Habib"; accounts of illicit drug use; and a blog entry headlined by a series of obscenities and racial epithets. The site is credited to and includes many photographs of Deryk Schlessinger, the 21-year-old son of the talk radio personality known simply as Dr. Laura. Broadcast locally on 570 KNRS, "Family Values Talk Radio," the former family counselor spends three hours daily taking calls and offering advice on morals, ethics and values. She broadcast a show from Fort Douglas, in Salt Lake City, last week.

That was a contention echoed by Army spokesman Robert Tallman, who said "it may be possible that our enemies are actually behind this.
"Our enemies are adaptive, technologically sophisticated, and truly understand the importance of the information battlespace," Tallman continued. "Sadly, they will use that space to promulgate and disseminate untrue propaganda."

This was last week’s news. The story is moving down the food chain.
Well, it is true that anybody can create a MySpace page. There are dozens of people claiming to be celebrities every day.
I wonder if this was really her son, as he said on there basically that he goes around killing some people who do not deserve it if you read other stories of what he wrote on there. He admits to murder.
“I don’t like her show but think about who calls in and announces to millions that they are a bedwetter or whatever anyway. They need a stern rebuke.”
Some do, but one size doesn’t fit all. She doesn’t seem to tailor her response, it’s the same for all. And she does seem to be a bit sanctimonious to me. In spite of her positive attributes, her negatives cause me to take a little schadenfreude in this case.
How do you know he’s guilty of anything?

Wise people will hold their fire until it is proven this site belonged to or was actively maintained by this young man.
Also, do a little background research on the author. A Dr. Laura hater to the nth degree.
If Derek is guilty then string him up and quick. But something does not pass the smell test just yet.
Oh, and I am not a Dr. laura fan.
I don’t know, but I think Dr. Laura refers to herself as the “proud mom of an Army Paratrooper”.

Probably a real possibility that the kid didn’t post the site.
My nephew had a site on Myspace, in his name, with all kinds of nonsense on it, and he didn’t make the page
It’s not hard to post in someone else’s name, just sign up as someone else, Myspace has no rules about that.
Didn’t Obama recently have a problem with a site in his name that wasn’t his?
I just logged into myspace...here’s a Hillary Clinton site...but I’m pretty sure she’s not the one that posted it.

I’ve had the same view of this woman for years now.
She was living with a married man...for over eleven years when those pictures were taken.
