Yes, it’s me...I’d like to know if Senator Voinovich is aware that there are far more than 12 million illegal aliens in this country already and it is clear that our government’s use of that number is entirely meant to mislead the public.

Yes, I resent continuing to be treated as if I’m stupid. Apparently our Senators aren’t aware that Homeland Security has reported that 10 million illegal aliens entered the country just last year alone?

Now, can you read that message back to me, I’d like to make certain that before Senator Voinovich passes AMNESTY for illegal aliens, that he knows EXACTLY the extent to which he is destroying this country.

Please look at what giving amnesty to as many as 20,000,000 illegal alien foreign nationals actually represents. More than the population of 16 states and DC!

Basically what we’re talking about is building infrastructure on demand for the population of at LEAST 17 STATES!
You know all those jobs everyone keeps saying only aliens will do? We wouldn’t need to supply the JOBS if we didn’t have the ALIENS! It’s them we’re building schools, houses, clinics, Mosques, MEXICAN consulates on and on for. And there is about enough of them working agriculture to produce some of the food they eat.
Any one who says 20 plus million people is not a drain on your resources is hopelessly corrupt! But it won’t be only 20 million, it will result in 80 million if other amnesties show us anything.

I wonder at the reasoning of Washington sometimes.
If we legalize all the low wage illegals they will want higher wages and benefits as they “come out of the shadows”.
But the employers want the CHEAP labor, so soon they will need a new crop of illegals to get the cheap labor they have become addicted to.
So we will then have the newly legal illegals competing for the marginal jobs with the poor, uneducated American citizens for those jobs.
They will start to find themselves unemployed and then we get to give them unemployment and welfare .
Right now there is no such thing as a ‘secure” ID card, no system to monitor the “temporary workers (France makes them check in every month) and so soon the new temporary worker will move into the shadows and in 20 years America will be a spanish speaking 3rd world nation crying for a “new world order”

I stopped wondering at the reasoning of Washington a long time ago and have begun to think that there is intentional malice in the way they run the country’s affairs. It appears that America, as envisioned by the Founding Fathers, must be destroyed in order to fit in with the rest of the countries in this world. How else can anyone explain the decisions made by Congress and the Administration?

And still are giving their lives up for, even today. How these brave Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan can continue to fight the enemy, while their country is sold to the lowest bidder behind their backs, is beyond me. More dedication than that I have never seen.

Every day we hear about all the lives that have been lost in Iraq but compare that statistic to all the ILLEGALS who have murdered or killed citizens of this country. I (and I’m sure most of you) have worked our asses off and NEVER taken a handout from the government. So what do we get now? Higher taxes to pay for housing, medical, schooling, social security benefits, etc. for ILLEGALS!! And I feel like a stranger in my own land - speak ENGLISH ONLY!
