I think the kid is sitting 10 or 15 feet behind the hog and someone was doing a little creative camera work. What makes me suspicious is the story full of witnesses who didn’t actually witness anything.

I dunno bout this. The kid looks real clear in the picture, but the wild boar is out of focus. Hmmmmmm.

I wouldn’t go hiking around something like that WITH a bazooka. It’s like a land shark.

Are there any photos of the pig hanging upside down?

The camera had a short depth of field due to low light levels causing the camera to have a low f-stop.

I can’t find any other pix on the ‘net. Seems as if they have carved the critter up already.

Yes, there is. Check out the pic in post #63:

I called my old friend up today and told him about this pig. The two of us have hiked and camped in that vicinity many, many times over the years. Last time was very near where this one was shot. My friend got us lost coming back from the creek and we didn’t find our camp until it was so dark we could barely see. That’s a mighty big hog and I hope there are no more around like that!

Sure, whatever you say. BTW, do you have any pics of the Great Eastern Jackalope? I've heard there are a few in NE Alabama.

That picture looks possibly faked.
The boar looks way bigger than 1,050 pounds.
And it looks like just a Duroc ( a commercial breed of hog) boar and not a wild pig.

Must be. If he would lean on the pig as the picture suggests, the pig would weight 2 or 3 metric tons.

Should have been a 50 cal sniper rifle from 1000 yards! I sure wouldn’t have wanted to get that close!

Anyway congrats to the boy. Have you read some of the hilariously pathetic negative comments he’s gotten on his site? Bless their souls, the family is posting them as they come in (edited for profanity only) and warns the senders that they will be prayed for.
