As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Israel continues pounding Gaza in retaliation for a recent missile attack by Hamas against the Jewish State. Also in Gaza, factions are reported as fighting between themselves.
Tony Blair is being considered to head the World Bank after Wolfowitz leaves.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
He should have stayed with Habitat for Humanity, or gone back to peanut farming.
Good morning. I can imagine how happy you are.
Excited... I will just be glad to see her again, safe and sound.
Good Morning!
>>Carter has just trashed his reputation
I heard him bellyaching yesterday...my ears have an auto shut-off feature.
I am so thankful that I wasn't born in caveman times....no coffee.
Good morning, Rave! How is Mrs. Raven?
She’s fine...we’re both tired of the move leftovers (endless unpacking and organizing.
We still have a garage full of stuff.
We’re both going to Italy in early June (she’s coming along on a biz trip)
Good Morning!
How was the birthday party?
Postponned till next saturday due to rain.
Darn it!
I hope the weather is nice for you next weekend.
too much patying is not allowed
Good morning to all........sun shining, looks like another beautiful day.
Gulfcoast6.....Wonderful news about JT...I think he is one lucky boy to have found such a loving family.
Our GardenFest was a big success...we had lots of plants to give away...and there were many hard to find plants and herbs for sale.....LOts of craft items....One lady had herbs, along with salve, baths salts and such made from herbs, very interesting booth.....I didn’t buy any plants, I was looking for a bleeding heart plant but did have a fellow MasterGardener offer to give me a start next spring.
There were demostrations set up to attend during the day. The class on decorating pots was very interesting. I missed the “fairy garden” demo but saw the planted container later and it was quite unique. Have you all heard of these? I think a fairy garden around the base of tree would be very neat. A fun project with granddaughters!!
One fellow, who was there last year too, brings old/odd things....such as old bikes with baskets planted with flowers, old barn boards with signs painted on them, the old-fashion kind of watering cans that were over running with sweet alyssum...I bought one to set in my flower beds, I thought his prices were very fair.
This fellow is quite a character....he has a flair for planting flowers in what some folks would call junk....he brings his wares to sell in a wooden horse trailer that must have been built in the 20’s or 30’s. He did a lively business and sold most of his unusual potted plants.
I see on the news side that former President Carter has been running his mouth again........he is a mean, small minded man, isn’t he?
Happy to hear the GardenFest was a success.
Good morning to you too...How are you this morning?
I know you will be so happy to have your daughter home.....she will have many wonderful stories to tell.
coolish & damp here
Lots of links to post...
I've been thinking over the Immigration bill.
I can understand all the consternation on both sides around here: the quick, reactive dismay and the distressed calls to wait and see...
The problem is the very clear speed being used to push the bill thru, and the complexity of the many parts that we do seem to be able to learn about.
I'm grateful for the chance to examine parts of the bill, but my reading does not diminish my concerns.
