AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 2247) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | May 18, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 05/18/2007 4:41:52 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

A "compromise" was forged in the Senate regarding immigration. Usually the word "compromise" in such a context signals an outcome that usualy involves the complete setting aside of conservative values in the name of advancing those of the Communists.

I will let you decide for yourself...

As reported by the AP--

In a striking reach across party lines, the White House and key lawmakers agreed Thursday on a sweeping immigration plan to grant legal status to millions of people in the country unlawfully.

In arriving at your decision, note the phrases grant legal status and to millions of people in the country unlawfully.

That's all you need to know about this "compromise".

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I am very, very, very disappointed with the republican party. We elect people to initiate change from the RAT way of doing things. Yet, we no sooner send them up there than they capitulate and compromise.

I hate the word compromise. It means cravenly kowtow to the powers that be and settle for less than the best.

I am disappointed with those who are going along with the immigration bill. Why should we reward those who break the law? They have already demonstrated they WILL NOT become solid good Americans. Their first act on our soil was to flout our laws.

I don’t consider myself a republican either. I very probably will vote republican in the next election because I don’t want the Witch from Chappaqua to get in the White House again. But frankly, I don’t see much difference between a regular run-of-the-mill RAT (like Bud Cramer) and McLame or Rudy or many of our turncoat Pubbies.

I just L’orealed yesterday. Was supposed to be “RED” but it is a cheery strawberry. I love experimenting. Waiting for pix at WA for other comments.

Time to send a bunch of those ‘turncoats’ home folks, bills passed is not to benefit us, it is to benefit them.

To change the subject, we have our first meeting of the ‘Golden Cross’ club on the 27th, a bunch of us older Christians having fellowship.

I think that is great. Good job, Toby, for acting on your idea.

How is your granddaughter?

Allie is just fine, growing up so fast, wonder if pills are made to keep them young and innocent.

Good Morning!

A bit coolish here...okay, it's COLD. Low 40's last night...it IS May, isn't it? I had to turn on the heat and will need to do so for the next week...if the weather projections are true.

Deck staining is still on my agenda for today, so low 70's temps will help.

Good morning hon. Sounds like you’ll be busy. I’d have to check my tylenol stock before staining the deck, probably

:^)

I agree with you, Dog... Seems “independent” is the only way to go now.

I used to vote in the Republican primaries. We’ll see... I may be switching to “Conservative Party” in NY now... it is a relatively effective party, and Republicans running state-wide make pretty strong attempts to get the Conservative endorsement.

I haven’t really put my toe in those political waters for a long while, though, so I’ll be thinking about it for a long time.

Uh Oh... well, my daughter will probably love the pix... but I’ve been pretty tough on her about even _thinking_ about this sort of stuff (hair colorings).

Good morning, prairie!

Thanks for the ping.

I didn’t know more were banned/ leaving. I have to say that most of the people whose posts I respected regarding the political and scientific threads here seem to have been given to boot or left themselves.

Who, now, is gone recently?

Right now, I spend more time reading than posting here now... and my interest has waned a great deal. I truly wish that weren’t the case, but this site has lost much of its worth with the loss of that brain power - even, and probably especially, those I didn’t agree with.
