A "compromise" was forged in the Senate regarding immigration. Usually the word "compromise" in such a context signals an outcome that usualy involves the complete setting aside of conservative values in the name of advancing those of the Communists.

Changing the subject again,,,, Is the prom tonite?
Yes, only it isn’t a prom. It is the “Junior-Senior Banquet.” I said “prom dress” because I knew the concept would be understood. Many in our community have a problem with dancing so the school doesn’t have proms. We have banquets. But it is formal and the clothes can be just as fancy.
The dress was done in plenty of time. When the youngest gets back with the camera, I’ll post a picture of her in the dress.
BTW, she got the ring.

Since the bill is not a done deal, and since the pundits are once again getting hysterical, perhaps it would be a good idea to wait and see.
And are you telling me that you will vote 3rd party or stay home in 2008, when Hilllary runs? If so, I am sorry to hear it.

yes-—every day is a little better. I never asked her how long it takes to heal.....(will do that when she gets up)
I’m glad to hear she’s doing better. She has to be really frustrated about it, so improvement is a VERY good thing.
Ring, but no date. Their lives are too unsettled right now.
However, they feel that they will marry eventually and didn’t see any reason to wait formalizing a betrothal.
