Time will tell if this will continue. We have lost several of our contributors recently & many more of our participants. We might just go with a SIMPLE format & just chat movies..
Well, we are picking up from the end of March when things at DollyCali's house went crazy .. tally ho!
...oh my goodness!--Educational AND romantic, with emphasis on romantic!!!!!
Thanks for recommendation. I am ALWAYS wanting to add to my collection, but my wallet doesn’t always agree
no I did not see it yet but am aware of it
Let us know when you see it & what yu think.
I have been under weather & have not done as many movies as I normally do.
We also saw “Wild Hogs” and had a good laugh. It’s silly, but you will actually laugh out loud! If you’re feeling down, make a night of it. Take a friend, get a bite to eat, and go to see this movie.
Thanks Pookie... I am so behind on everything & my computer & particularly email has been still not functioning correctly.
Did you see spiderman yet? we couldn’t get a seat opeing weekend & since then have had other committments..
FYI for those interested and this may be just a touch off topic but if you go here:

You can download group bible studies based on the movie Amazing Grace. One is free but I think the other you have to pay for.
I’ve browsed through the free one and it looks pretty good.
They also have other group studies using other movies as well.
We saw “Music and Lyrics” and really enjoyed it. Hugh Grant and Drew are very good in this movie, and I’m pleased that Drew Barrymore doesn’t seem to be making R rated movies. It’s a very pleasant way to spend the evening, especially if you enjoy romantic comedies.
I really don’t like that graphic of Al Gore’s face on St. Thomas More’s painting.
I agree.... but then, I like Drew.. and, think Hugh is funny. But, the reviewer got it right: It’s a FUN film... not, a high brow affair. But, that’s ok sometimes. Anything that leaves my wife happy. :-)
We also saw Amazing Grace. I like it better than my wife did. But, I thought it was an awesome movie... the best I’ve seen in a year or two.
I saw it. It’s good, it’s not as good as 28 Days Later but it’s good. Early on it fakes a leftist anti-military bent, but the situation proves the military was right.
I never got to see Amazing Grace. I’ll have to see it on DVD.
Yes, took my mother to see it...thought it was pretty good.
I can give you a thumbnail after supper, if you like.
That would be great Guennie! we welcome ALL REVIEWS of movies etc. Classic, kids, first run etc
I thought Amazing Grace was one of the better movies I have seen this year.
I liked Fracture quite a bit also. Blades of Glory & Hot Fuzz were also enjoyable each in their own way
The movie Perfect Stranger was not rated critically that well but I thought it was a great movie. I love local girl Halle Berry & try to see all her work
I dont actually like Gore’s face anywhere!
