"As a". I have noticed that many people when speaking or writing start their sentence with "As a". Followed by an array of PC protected classes such as, "as a women, or "as a person of color" or "as a single mother",etc. Most of the time after "As a" comes "I was offended by". The jest of their point is always the same, (I don't like what your saying, their will be no debate, shut up!) and they do it alot & get away with it. I'm sick of the "As a's". Am I wrong?

As a former English teacher, I find your lack of attention to homonyms disturbing. ;)

Cabot makes a good horseradish cheddar, but for my money, you cannot beat this stuff. It's a Welsh cheddar, a tad crumbly, and it's horsey as hell. If you like Bloody Marys that taste like shrimp dip, you will love Harlech.

Have you ever put a sock over a dogs snout & watch it pull it off?
Where do you get a sock big enough to fit over a Rottie's snout? Them's some BIG feet.

Is that a newtter for short? Can't be, we had that done to my dog, and he's yet to pick up the needles.

If I recall my Schoolhouse Rock, which I do, a sound-alike is a homonym: your/you’re, their/there/they’re, etc. ;)
I don’t feel like learnin’ you, since you have taken your lumps on this thread like a CHAMP.

My Bloodys are very horseradish-heavy. My husband says they taste like something you’d dip shrimp in.
I guess they do taste like cocktail sauce, if your taste in cocktail sauce runs toward the vodka type.

You have become quite the connoisseur of cheese these days. ;-)

Oh, girl, you don’t even KNOW. I am the Cheese Queen. (The Rennies crowned me.)
We had a thrice-daily show last season, and the evening one involved a small picnic. My self-appointed job was to feed the Spaniards, since by that time I was usually starving and wanted something not fried, and I set up a Spanish feast: olives, sun-dried tomatoes, crackers, apples, grapes, and six or seven kinds of cheese.
I tried to get at least one Spanish cheese in there every night - one of my girls has a fondness for Manchego - but I ended up opting for the qualification of “whatever cuts well in Texas summer heat.”

Ok, I'm going to bed. Really this time.
