"As a". I have noticed that many people when speaking or writing start their sentence with "As a". Followed by an array of PC protected classes such as, "as a women, or "as a person of color" or "as a single mother",etc. Most of the time after "As a" comes "I was offended by". The jest of their point is always the same, (I don't like what your saying, their will be no debate, shut up!) and they do it alot & get away with it. I'm sick of the "As a's". Am I wrong?

I just realized I’VE used this very expression when writing nasty letters to my senators.
I start out “As a soldier’s mother...”
...and proceed with my brow-beating and list of complaints against them (my senators) and their wrong-headedness...

But she wore a two-piece suit last week and then

The one I posted last night announcing that I was wearing new socks and gushing about how comfortable they were was pulled in about 30 seconds. As a FReeper doing an invaluable service to her country, you should be given some latitude. I, for one, am thrilled that you have some comfortable socks.

Tell me about it! I was sooo hoping she would be seen in that!!! They teased us!
Have you seen Blades of Glory with Will Ferrel? She's in it and has a smoking hot lingerie scene.
To: Maximus of Texas
Haven't seen that, but she's in Employee of the Month playing a hooker.
