A Michigan firm that delivers meat products to Arkansas is recalling more than 64 tons of beef due to possible e-coli contamination. The USDA says Davis Creek Meats and Seafood shipped the beef between March 1 and April 30.

I wasn’t sure where to post this, so I put it in chat. I did a search and didn’t see it posted which i thought was odd considering the number of states involved.
Between the spinach, beef, pet food, etc. recalls, its pretty clear that the USDA isn’t doing its job. Our borders leak and our food system is suspect. I would think potential terrorists are taking note.
What I find troubling is that some of this food was shipped March 1st and we are only now hearing about this.
BUMP. This is serious! And only 5 posts in 3 days??? I’m just glad I seldom eat beef.
