As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!Troops searched Yousafiah, Iraq, in the so-called "Triangle of Death" for three US soldiers Al Qa'eda claims to have captured.
ABC News reporters were caught, on film, napping at an Obama speech.
Gas in San Francisco has passed the $4/gal. mark at some stations.
And Farmers Branch, TX, has passed an ordinance prohibiting landlords from renting to illegal aliens.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
Belated Mother's Day wishes to all moms out there.
Hillary's voice could wake the dead.
Thanks for the start, Chairman.
prairie, congrats on the graduation! A proud day for parents, and your daughter!
lysie, it is chilly this a.m....there was talk of a freeze, but it didn't happen.
Good Morning! Looks like I’m an early bird this morning. :)
I saw President Bush at Jamestown in the local news and he looked like he was having fun. Check the photos on the Daily Dose thread if they have them. I haven’t seen them yet.
There was a brief mention in the local news that the President is related to Pocahontas! I could not find the story at their website, but found another source with the following link:

For those who are interested, Alexander Hamilton will be the subject of the PBS’s “American Experience” at 9:00 tonight.
I have chores to do this morning now that the sun is finally out. Enjoy your day.

Good Morning.
Forcasted to be a hot one down here today. 94 - ugh!
Hope y’all had a blessed day yesterday.
Well all is fixed and running at the Pitcher household...
The AC man arrived late Sat p.m. and quickly diagnosed the problem in the unit outside: a mouse had chewed thru one of the wires. He had to climb into the unit to handle the repair. So that didn't take long and wasn't too costly.
As for the cable, they were expected by 10 a.m. on Sat per a call from their office, but by mid afternoon: no show...
so I called them, and were told there'd been some widespread outage, so they had to deal with that...they'd soon be at our house...It was a little more confused than that, but that's the "nutshell" version.Well, afternoon passed into evening, and they never arrived.
So early yesterday I called T-W and reached the Service office, and - unknown to me - this guy didn't have a clue what the "right hand" was doing....
We scheduled an evening appt. for some days away unfortunately due to our schedule needs.
So that was that we thought...at least we knew we didn't have to hang around waiting...
Lo and behold , at noon there's a knock on the door, and it's the Cable guy!
His supervisor on the way, he's ready to roll! We had no idea he was coming, and when he'd left on Fri he had my # to call me..
4 hours later the cable was fixed...it took a 3rd guy to string some outside wire. Trees had really wrecked the cable, and there's more to do, but no inside access is required, thank goodness.
But the first guy, especially, was Keystone Kops material...
They started out focusing on the inside aspects, when the biggest problems were outside.
So....mouse and tree branches....Nature at play with technology...
T-W was the worst culprit....no calls on Sat to let us know what was going on....confused help via the phone and their records....no call on Sun when they were on their way! Sheesh it was terribly inefficient and consumer UNfriendly.
Whoa! I sure hope FL gets some rain today. We need it too, but we have no fires burning. Everything is green, green, green...
That’s quite a story about what was going on at your house!
I have Alexander Hamilton book that I’ve been reading off and on. Just didn’t have enough time to finish it with all the chores I had to do. Summer months keep me pretty busy.
TW always tries to blame the problem on the inside.
Thank you for the start, Chair!
New tag. . .
Great links, Molly, and please also read Steyn’s newest on “Fortress America’s Gate is Open” as well. It is the BEST piece on (cough) illegal immigration in a long, long time.
How ya doing???
I’m doing well, kassie. How are you? Did you and your Mom have a nice Mother’s Day?
Yes we did. How was your day?
Uneventful and pleasant. ;-)
Uneventful is nice!
Whweee, it’s going to be warm down there. It’s supposed to be in the 80s up here. stopem how is it up your way?
Today is cut the grass day. Then clean the table in the garage to make way for pattern making. I need to cover 2 wing chairs pretty quick. Right now the table is full of garden stuff. So I’ve got to get crackin before too long.
Just a quick good morning for SE Iowa. I got distracted outside after posting early this a.m.
Housekeeping and Gardening will occupy my time today. I’ll check in during rest breaks.
