"We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!" President Bush
It is expected that Prime Minister Tony Blair will offer his resignation today. He leaves with a 61% approval rating. (We will miss you)
Michael Moore has been sent a letter by the Treasury Departments Office of Foreign Assets Control suggesting that he violated the U.S. trade embargo restricting travel to Cuba. Moore was in Cuba for a segment of his movie Sicko.(Appropriate title, there, Mikey. You are!)

Pretty much the way our weather has been lately.
BUT, I dont see it. along the coast proper there are few trees left but inland I just dont see this percentage of the ruined trees.
GC6, I agree. I wonder where that assesment is coming from. From what I can see, most of the inland trees look pretty darned good, and a lot of the costal trees are on the come back trail. (those still standing)
Guess I'm not one of them thar tree "experts"!
That makes me happy.
Did you notice that so many trees were really bent over after the Storm and not they are upright again? Strange.
Good morning.
I am like a kid with a new toy with these flowers, can’t wait until they grow big and strong.
I hope they flower for you, Toby. I have a feeling they will.
Last night at supper, I remember thinking "ouch...And I can't take another Aleve for a couple of hours...
Then 2 hours later I realized no pain!
Still stiff a little, but the pain disappeared as quickly as it arrived.
I do want to get the name of a good masseuse tho for the next time. One of my neighbors uses one she likes and just needed her too....very effective.
Wow! Thanks for the breakfast and the start, lysie! That croissant looks yummy!
The intellectual heft of people who read Michael Moore is about the same as people who buy books because they match their outfits. Did you check if she was even holding the book right side up? LOLOLOL!
Regarding the pubbie defectors, once again this proves that for some politicians, political survival is more important than principal. What craven cowards!
Spectacular list of links, Molly! I will have to read them later to do them justice.
I’ve always felt that massage and chiropractic care are the best ways to deal with pain issues as opposed to drugs, and IMO (totally unsolicited advice coming) if you add in some regular yoga or daily stretches, you might prevent chronic or nagging pain issues entirely.
Off to a busy day here. . .
Wow...that’s some breakfast. I’m eating yogurt this morning to keep my weight down. Gotta make my doctor happy tomorrow when I get weighed in.
Yes, she was! What great stories she had.

Excellent links today, Molly. Thanks.
I've found that learning what another person reads and what he laughs at are quick clues to his interests/personality. For instance, an avid reader of People magazine vs National Geographic. The list of contrasts is long. On humor...slapstick vs satire.
