From another article....the RACE card right off the bat. Carlos Mencia was great last night. He basically said white people need to stop taking this race baiting crappola and that he'll say the things we're too afraid to say for us!
Simpson's attorney, Yale Galanter, said the incident was about race, and he intended to pursue the matter and possibly go after the restaurant's liquor license. "He screwed with the wrong guy, he really did," Galanter said by telephone Tuesday night. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070509/ap_en_ce/people_simpson;_ylt=AryGwOraPVNzpQ8lb_pDSvHMWM0F

There is, and there is a moral difference as well.

Brave man, considering there were probably knives on the table!

Kudos to Jeff Ruby, clearly a man of principle. A fundamental element of private property (much eroded, I know, by Democrats) is that the property owner has the right to serve—or not serve—anyone he wishes, for any reason he wishes.

Heee hee! Maybe he doubted his ability to hold onto the weapon since he didn’t have his gloves.

I'm going to be in Louisville next week, but I don't see the name of the resturant in the article.
I'm a big tipper.

A business owner who has the um... wherewithal to run his business the way he sees fit. Too bad it’s now looking like he’s going to be the victim of a baseless lawsuit.

Which prosecutor are you talking about? The bimbo, or the brother....that did the bimbo?

Jeff Ruby, owner of the steakhouse Jeff Ruby's Louisville, asked O.J. Simpson to leave his Main Street restaurant minutes after Simpson arrived about 10:30 Friday night.
Happy to oblige! Per the Louisville Courier...enjoy your steak! ;o)

Where else but America can you be ruled not guilty of a crime and then have a second trial on basically the same charge and be ordered to pay for that crime you were judged not to have done?

I heard on the news that the table was later given to Michael Jordan and a party of about 16 or so. That will go a long way in his defense for not serving OJ if he turns around and serves Jordan at the same table right afterwords.

Ya think so, jughead?
Guess who walked in not five minutes after OJ was shown the door?
And enjoyed a fine meal with a fabulous crew?
