Yes, this is going to be a long war....President Bush has told us this from the begin. We know that but most folks in this country don’t have the patience or the will to see it to the end...I am afraid.

This is a busy, busy time for gardeners...Our Master Gardeners Friends Club is having a GardenFest next Sat., so I am potting up some hen and chicks plants to give away. If I have enough pots, I will also add some day lilies.

Our club offers free plants and bulbs at low cost to encourage gardeners. We also clean the fair grounds where the GardenFest will be held....hopefully I can get in some of my community service hours next week.

Also, eveyone please note: Regarding the 6 captured Islamic jihad terrorists; In case you hadn't heard how this came about. This is what I have learned and hopefully I have the facts correct. Very briefly, the terrorists had made a video of them feigning an attack while screaming "allah akbar!" and a savvy video store clerk turned them in. They claimed they were making it for a Saturday Night Live stunt. Not so.

The key point is that there were TEN terrorists in the video; not just six. If true, 4 deadly terrorists are still at large.

Doing well, thank you till. We had heavy smoke from the fires in N. FL and GA yesterday. Today is clear, westerly of about 8 knts, sunny with a high of about 80. Another glorious day in paradise.

Hi prairie. I might have had been misinformed. There was an investigator on Laura Ingraham’s show that had in depth knowledge of the investigation and he indicated some of the extras beyond the 6 were undercover agents, and it was done at something like 4 different sites. He said there were a ‘couple’ or so agents, so it sounds like they got the 6 and that was all in this cell. Hopefully, that is correct.

I agree with what you say, except for, instead of firing squad, I suggest hanging. The reason is that Saddam wanted to be shot instead of hung because in that primitive culture, firing squads were for military executions and hanging was for common criminals. So, if they are so bent on dying for their allah, let’s accomodate them with hanging. But that’s just me. However, I’m sure the CRAT libs will be coming to their rescue.
