I haven’t the foggiest idea who this dame is but somehow I can see her as the type who has a “carbon footprint” that’s twice as large as that of Johnny Edwards.

The entry on Laurie in Bernie Goldberg’s “100 People Who Are Screwing Up America” starts off: “Laurie David is a pain in the ass. She’s (describes her), but mostly, she’s a pain in the ass.” Bernie goes on to describe how she yells at people for driving SUVs...

..yet takes Gulfstream jets to her appearances, wasting
thousands of gallons of fuel. At the end of the entry,
Bernard says, “Laurie, curb YOUR damn enthusiasm.”

I woke up the morning after the election, November 3, and cried for three straight days. I couldn't stop.

What a loser.

"I was thrilled," David says. "Anytime anyone spoofs anything on global warming, it's good — it gets the word out."

Snicker.

Someone had posted a link to a global warming quiz. According to it, "greenhouse effect" is caused by water vapor (hence, warmer nights when overcast), and global warming is caused by the sun.

Carbon Dioxide (a so-called "pollutant", but see how long your plants live without it) has nothing to do with it, really.

People like Laurie David need to find something really important to get worked up about, like genocide in the Sudan. People are dying there RIGHT NOW, not maybe dying 100 years in the future.

Laurie David is a living manifestation of the mentally ill liberal mindset.

She's been demanding enough, in fact, that Larry David has made the misery of living with an environmental activist part of his stand-up routine.

I'm guessing that's the only way he can vent.

I woke up the morning after the election, November 3, and cried for three straight days. I couldn't stop. Not because my candidate lost, which he had, but because of what it meant for the solutions to global warming.

Liz needs to get a grip.

In fact, the president's first act in office in 2001 was to renege on his promise to regulate CO2 as a pollutant.

What a freggin` STUPID BIMBO! He didn`t regulate CO2 as a pollutant because IT ISN`T A POLLUTANT! It is a NON PERMANENT NECESSARY GAS ON EARTH! If it hasn`t occurred to this idiot, the atmosphere is currently made up of 0.03838% CO2 (which you can literally call ZERO POINT ZERO)...If that level drops to 0.02% photosynthesis in plants STOPS! That`s right, plants, trees, grass ect ect START DYING! Please someone slap this bim, I can`t take these gorebull warming idiots anymore! GRRRRRRR!

Two months later, he shocked the world by removing the United States from the Kyoto Protocol, an agreement that was the result of thousands of hours of work, endless meetings, difficult negotiations-basically blood, sweat, and tears-on the part of 160 countries, including the United States.

He "removed" the U.S. from Kyoto?

What a delusional twitette.

For the record:

On July 25, 1997, John Kerry and Ted Kennedy, along with 93 other senators (with five senators not voting and none voting in opposition) adopted a resolution stating that ‘the United States should not be a signatory to any protocol to, or other agreement regarding, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change of 1992, at negotiations in Kyoto.’

That's 1997. Pray tell who was in the White House and who was in charge of both houses of Congress?

Take Heart....

There was a piece on Fox News last night about how Global Warming Zealots were touting population control as a means of fixing the problem. OF course, the only people allowed to procreate would be those that agree with the zealots, but I digress....

My point is that I remember the 70s when the global cooling/cancer/pollution/etc scares were being touted by the same people. Hysteria reached its worst, and population control was "The Only Solution". Then.....things pretty much petered out and nothing came of it.

It's always darkest before the dawn. These kooks will go away, eventually.

She’s so stone cold stupid that she didn’t know we were NEVER “in” the Kyoto treaty in order to be removed from it?
The treaty was unanimously rejected by every single Senator (of BOTH parties) who voted on it. I don’t know if that was one of the days when sKerry was too busy to show up for work or not.

Pathetically stupid. Babs Streisand stupid.
