My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Nice beach scene Tom, thanks.

Rain, Rain, Rain, days of wet, and chill and all I seem to write is dark poems.
Dark the Woods
In the woods of Innesfreen
A stranger should pay hark
for there up in the shadowed greens
lurks a danger in this park
long ago, long ago, oh so many days
things were different then to pend
and it were many men who could say
that of the woods they were friend
Now the times have shifted on a jot
and things have changed a bit
and wisely now you enter not
when the moody woods are in a fit
Things soft go bump within
the shadows deep and dark
be they some prank or whim,
or a dark and deadly sin, do hark
For here in the woods, especially on its own
the razors edge is ever sharply honed
and yet the birds sing a sweet high tone
as a destiny a fickle fate reclaims once loaned

Oh I don’t know about that, I think it moved your muse in the right direction to create a rather chilling poem, I like it.
To: MEG33
Oh shoot! I think I saw we are supposed to be okay with weather, honestly can’t remember from one minute to the next about weather.
To: MEG33
Meg, for Mother’s Day one of the girls bought me a Delphinium, it is the same color blue as the one in your post. I really like these flowers. They come up every year.
