[Soaring Feather]

My Dragonfly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

My, what an interesting picture. It would sure be nice if the ROP had some sort of artistic or “human” expression in it, as your picture might imply is desperate to get out.

It is an interesting photo, that was my thought. Lady Jag and I were fooling around with photos one day I and ran across this one.

Well, you may have guessed I am a bird nut, owls are especially cool.

Those raptors both little and large are a wonder, how silently they hunt at night.

First those eyes are amazing! Then I clicked on the post and the first thing that popped up with the owl with glasses! I was beginning to think that I had fallen down the rabbit hole!

All in all, it was quite the wake up. Thanks for the pings. It's nice to feel that I'm not forgotten.

So what’s up for this Summer, camping with your son, Boy Scout activities, etc.?

Wow! You have an excellent memory! Yeah, in fact this weekend, I'm headed up to Northern Wisconsin for some canoeing with the boys. Then in the summer we're headed out to Yellowstone! The camping and site seeing will be fun, the car ride will be interesting, to say the least. 8^)

My daughter is riding in a few horse shows. She leases a horse from a local barn, and does a few shows every year. Mainly, she just loves being with horses, so the show results don't really weigh on her mind (which is good).

Thanks for asking. How's your summer plans panning out?

Sounds like a busy Summer for you and the family. ‘Tis good, keep them busy, their minds will be filled with healthy ideas, and they will be interesting people as they mature.
