"Lets show these politicians and oil companies who is really in charge..." Yeah, that will do it. China will be all too pleased to buy up any surplus on the market at a lower price.

Pelosi’s and Reid’s fault. They blamed GW and the republicans before they gained power and promised to lower the prices. Prices are hitting all time highs since Pelosi and Reid took over. They are to blame.

The problem is, my FRiend, is that if everyone goes without buying gas one day, we will make it up the day before or after.
No one wins.

So the revenue will get moved around by a day or two, that wont help.
Secret to getting this to work would be for everyone to refrain from buying gas for two days for the reason that it would completely screw up the distribution process. That would hurt, but if you keep telling everyone what day it's going to happen then they can plan for it.
When you can send out a subliminal message to all the FReepers, then your cooking with gas fake charcoal briquettes...!

Unless you change your total consumption, it does not matter a whit if you don’t buy gas for one day...or two...or three.

Cheap gasoline should be a right. It’s right there in the general welfare clause of the US constitution.
