2007 NFL DRAFT LIVE THREAD
April 28, 2007
12:00PM ET
TV Network: ESPN
Where will they go? Lets go to the commissioner:
This is the opportunity he wanted to win a championship...now he has to prove he deserves it.
Who do you think is happier about this...Brady or Watson? I mention Watson because unlike last year he won’t be the #1 focus of opposing defenses.
I’m hoping Moss is the happiest! Seriously, this is great news for Watson....defenses will have to concentrate on more than one receiver and it should help the running game as well.
Or how about Faulk slipping out of the backfield as a receiver. Plenty of upside as long as Moss receives an “attitude adjustment” if/when needed.
Every defensive coordinator the Pats are going to face this year just went “Oh ^%&(!”.
FYI..I was reading about the Moss trade on CNNSI..there’s an ad for some palce called “giftconga.com” offering FREE Randy Moss Oakland Raiders jerseys....LOL...Maybe Moss can sublease Telfair’s crib, er..apartment...he can probably get a good deal..
Did you hear about the Cards pitcher killed last night in a car accident..just announced. BTW..the Cards/Cubs game tonight..which was the ESPN Sunday night game..has been cancelled. No other night game listed..will they try and delay one of the late afternoon games..put Bonds on national TV?
Have you ever seen any stats as to what % of players drfated in each roudn actually end uup making an NFL roster. Are there any historical records?
He shouldn’t have been shocked. Gary Cobb came right out and said last Saturday that their first pick would be Kolb or Troy Brown.
The more I see of this Kolb kid, the more I like him.
That info must be available....I'll try to find it tomorrow.
Thanks
Crap. I looked at the Cowboys’ draft page and it said we got Isaiah Stanback, QB from Washington, who supposedly can also play WR. I was thinking that it was great that we got a dual threat, like Seattle’s Seneca Wallace. Then I found out he plays baseball. Haven’t we learned anything from Quincy Carter, Chad What’s-his-name and Drew Henson? No baseball players!
Obviously, a first rounder is almost guaranteed to be on the roster the year he’s selected. I wonder how many first rounders are out of the league four years down the line.
I think it’s too late to do that.
I'm grading them out early at a big fat

Being that their ownership are true blue democrats I guess it's safe to say they've taken on the surrender mentality and given up on the '07 season.
If Marcus Thomas stays clean, Denver may wind up with the steal of the draft.
Good point.
Robinson, Ramzee, CB, Alabama
True. This draft had Martz and Marinelli’s hands all over it. Looking forward to training camp!
