As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
ATRW is still here...
The United States House of Representatives Government Oversight and Reform Committee, on a party-line vote, subpoenaed Sec'y Rice to testify before the panel. The subpoena requires her to discuss the Administration's justifications for invading Iraq.
On the subject of Iraq, the DemoncRATS in the House of Representatives passed legislation that would require an American pullout of Iraq beginning October 1.
Finally, the DJIA is over 13,000--so much for the slowdown.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Tomorrow, I will be phoning ALL reps from my state, including the Demodogs, with my anger about this surrender vote.
Prayers for you in your situation. Oftentimes this ends up being much more good than bad in the end.
Thanks for that, D-v ... I’ll be phoning loads of ‘em tomorrow.
I am glad. I always choose to err on the side of doing too much. Prayers for a complete and quick recovery!
Thank you lysie. I’ll be on the lookout for those moths from now on.
I encourage anybody who wants to read something that Chief Justice Roberts has written and assess what the 2000 election may have wrought should take a look at this:
Roberts Hits Stevens Over Death Penalty

And I made a pseudo-synopsis of his dissent in post#32... but you may want to read the whole thing that is linked a few posts above that.
It is really quite funny in many places ... the man (and whoever he has helping him write) certainly knows how to use cynicism, and sarcasm...
That always happens when one retires, unless the retiree is a senator, representative or ceo. The rest of us plug along. A good reason to begin putting away very early in life. We’ve been very lucky, Roomey studies the market and has for many years. He’s also a very conservative investor.
They like bee-balm (I think it is called) ...
OH woo woo.
Where can I find bee-balm, what is it? I didn’t have my hearing aids in, so to me they were silent.
Prayers up RD for your son and for you and your job.

I don’t see the hummingbird moth mentioned, but I’m pretty sure that is the reason those hummers had for visiting my place.
Time for me to nitey-nite now...
Thank you AF. That is very interesting. I’ve seen something like those, I think, in a seed magazine. Now I’ll be on the lookout for a real one. Appreciate it.
Now, I’m off to bed. An early morning tomorrow...have to finish getting ready for the golf tournament.
Take care all, sleep well, stay safe. Nite All.
Bee-Balm is also called Monarda, Till. I have a big bunch of red and a smaller patch of pink.
Thanks for the link, lysie! No, I never have been one to name things much. I just played with them.
Rise & shine.. lets all get up & run a mile, clean the refrigerator & tackle the day
Opps, hey wait - cant do that
I haven’t gone to bed yet.... will catch up with you all later.
lotsa rain/storms here today.
Molly at the cancer support group tonight our speaker was the Indian’s team physician from 1960-1990. (Bill Wilder) He is also a prostate cancer survivor for 14 years. We have had him for several years & always have a great attendance.

Had a nice LONG talk with techie in Buffalo & got problem resolved with about 45 minutes invested in phone call & experimenting. After being w/o internet for 3 weeks the last go around I was worried.
are you home ?
going to get a bath, some wine & hopefully some sleep.
molly.. yea Indians... do we have a “streak” going?
Molly we will wait until Ohio gets home to plan our outing. AFPhys is interested in perhaps joining us so we might open this one again to men if all agree.
