We would love that! and the garden, errr, starting on finishing it today and tomorrow.
“Of course I survived the youngun” Like my mother raising our tribe. My brother joined the Marines. I asked him, after Boot Camp, “Were the Drill Instructors hard? He answered,”After Mom, everyone else is easy?”
You’ll warm up then Rav. Safe travels. How long will you be in Milan?
Are you getting rain down there kassie. It’s 70 degrees here and raining. I think it will rain off and on all day.
Oh, it good to see you.
He'll be doing special training this summer and will have an MOS that's more 'adventurous' than his last.
Makes him happy and us proud, but a bit uneasy at the same time.
About getting together...........May is goofy (3 trips to Minnesota!), but how about something this summer? I can drive up your way and we can meet somewhere (even McDonalds was fun in such good company!).
Sound like a plan?
(((((ohio))))
Elder daughter will still be in England.
Elder son is in South America.
Eric will be in Iraq
Younger daughter will be in a study abroad program in Africa.
Four kids. Four continents. NONE of them the same as their Mom and Dad.
Sigh............
Yes, it can get pretty nasty. The thread is almost 2000 replies in length. Who knew? There will be a lot more of the same if Mitt Romney wins the Republican nomination. I am looking at all candidates, so far Romney meets the qualifications I am looking for in a President...
Just thur & fri - then back to the land of the free and the home of the raven
LOL! You're on the wrong thread....again..
ohio...the globe-spanning-ness (?) of your family leaves me speechless.
I won't complain another time - I hope - about our 2 sons...out west, and hours away by plane...
All I can say is...you gave them wings, yes you did!
(They're right, but I don't have to LIKE it. :)
“I feel like someone just hit me with a baseball bat.”

I know what you mean. Seldom has a person’s death hit me so hard. I’ll add you to my prayers in this matter, along with the rest of her family.
Thanks for another memory of Kay, Utah Girl. We’re not forgetting her many, many kindnesses...

Ole Soul is such a wonderful hound. Bless his heart, I’ll bet he wonders about humans, not you, but humans in general. Sometimes I look at Beanie and she’s watching the humans that come into our home and yard. Sometimes she gets a look as if “I wonder about them.”, or “gee what are they about”. Then she looks at us with such love and understanding, I just hug her. But yesterday she just couldn’t help herself with the wet cement...she walked IN it. She had a coniption fit when I cleaned her feet with fast running water. OH BOY, she was insulted.
Well they better not on mine, I like mine with sugar and milk.
