As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
The Third World War is intensifying insofar as Al Qa'eda is now seeking links with other terrorist organizations. For example, links with an Algerian terrorist group GSPC have been identified, after which two suicide bombings resulting in 33 deaths occurred.
It is also stated that the central organization of Al Qa'eda has recentralized around 20 or so central figures that operate out of farms and camps that also function as training sites.
The economy, which according to the leftist media was ready to tank after the DJIA lost two percent in one day weeks ago continues to hum along--the DJIA hitting another record high.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I’m taking an ice-water break from weeding to cool of my LITERALLY hot body. LOL
I got this yesterday from a friend who has been sending one of these out every month. A true, loving Christian.
WHO’S IN HEAVEN
My mouth agape wide open, As I entered Heaven’s door.
Not by the beauty of it all, by the lights or it’s decor.
But it was the folks in Heaven, who made me sputter and gasp.
The theives, the liars, the sinners, the alcoholics and the trash.
There stood the kid from 7th grade, who swiped my lunch money twice.
Next to him was my old neighbor, who have said anything nice.
Herb, who I always thought, was rotting away in hell.
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine, looking incredibly well.
I nudged Jesus, “What’s the deal? I would love to hear Your take.
How’d all these sinners get up here, God must’ve made a mistake.
And why’s everyone so quiet, so somber? Give me a clue.”
“Hush child,” said He “They’re all in shock, No one thought they’d see you.”

of = off (hot fingers too.)
That’s good to know. I know there are a lot of martinis out there today, but I just stick with the old one. Gin, Vermouth (just pass the vermouth cork over the gin) a queen olive. I did pick up a pomegranit mix, I love pomegranit juice, and thought I’d try that as a dessert sometime.
This morning for breakfast I made a yogurt smoothie with a mango. It was pretty good, thick, but I used a straw anyway.
We keep on the way things are going in Washington it won’t be long before they get us killed here in the states. Hate is such a strong thing like they have for W, make us all pay for it, dems and pubs alike cause when it happens the bad guys will make no difference if you are one of the other. Don’t just shrug it off, it is a real threat.
Got me a row of cucumbers planted, some lettuce, more tomatoes. This afternoon I hope to get the mustard and turnips planted, this takes time or you just overpayment them being the seeds are so little. NO southern home garden goes without greens, a MUST, un southern like....
Got to go and find me two more, maybe three, pecan trees, one died over the winter, another staple here in the south.
Still just a bit cool to plant my grits, you DO know they have buttered grit seeds now, save time when you eat them.
Might plant one row of carbon footprints and save the world.
Went to the store and got me three turkeys this morning, boy do they cheep, loud. Hope one is a male, mixed in the pen.
OK, off to the races and do some more ‘garden work’. Talk to you later.
Toby
It is HOT here, sheesh.
(don’t let Gore know, I use liquid killer on the unwanted weeds)
Uh, uh, er, er, blush, blush, stutter, stutter!!!!!!
The Head Senate RAT Weasle, Harry Reid had the following to say (AGAIN!!!) in response to Joe Lieberman's all-to-polite challenge to Reid's "the war is lost" propaganda. This is off Malkin's blog.
Friday, after Lieberman made his remarks, Reid struck again.
"The longer we continue down the President's path," the majority leader told colleagues in a Senate floor speech, "the further we will be from success." He also pointed out that Democrats generally agree with him. "In an effort to shift attention from this Administration's failed polities and I say that in the plural the President and his allies have repeatedly questioned whether I and my fellow Democrats support our troops," the majority leader told fellow senators. "No one wants us to succeed in Iraq more than the Democrats. We've proven that time and time again since this war started more than four years ago. We take a back seat to no one in supporting our troops, and we will never abandon our troops in a time of war."
Laughable from Reid. As far as supporting our troops, Reid and his commie minions aren't in the car, much less the backseat.
And I not only question their patriotism, I directly challenge it and call it bogus. grrrrr!
LOL! Good one.
Congress has decided they would prefer not to know any good news that Patreaus would report. Typical.
Prairie - I think the meat sickness has happened this month but from meat that was packed in 2006. That sounds like really old meat so maybe I’m reading that article incorrectly. It wouldn’t be the first time :-)
You are doing exactly what the Atkins program tells you to do. After an initial 2 weeks only on the 20 grams of carbs a day, you add back complex carbs which are found in fruits and veggies. You monitor the intake with an eye on weight loss. If you stop losing weight you cut back on the carbs, if you keep losing weight you are taking in the correct number.
Good on ‘ya, Granny!
If I wasn't a gentlman I would have a comment.
Could be malaria. The symptoms are about the same.
You’re correct, the illnesses occured earlier this month. Must remember to tell Mr. Prairie..
Yes. Me, too.
Love it. Thank you.
Colonel and the girls are now behaving. He’s crowing on command...;-) Comfort-wise..hens clucking, in my opinion, is equal to or better than kittens purring.
One of my turkeys I bought today is not going to make it, going to the big turkey yard in the sky, sickly, and the store will not take any thing back when it comes to fouls. Ih well, I think I can get by with two.
A friend of mine has guineas. Their noise is not equal to kittens purring.
