Prayer needed by a freeper. (updates in #151, #183)

Hey, everyone.... I have a few prayer requests. I just was told my mom has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. They have put her on medication to try to get the fluid off her heart. They also found her thyroid is not functioning correctly and the numbers are way out of whack.

PLEASE also pray for my daughter and my grandson. My daughter has just returned from the Dr. They gave her a steroid shot today and she will receive another one tomorrow to help the baby's lungs develop as they are not ready yet. She is 28 weeks along. He is currently 2 lbs 9 ounces. They have put her on bedrest... she cannot be up for more than 15 minutes, when she is up. This means that she has to take a leave from her job. She is worried about losing her house and paying her bills. She was also informed that she may not have a job when this is all over!

I have been unemployed since January, and going through a mess, as well. Some of you are aware of all of it. Circumstances have put the girls and I living with my older daughter, so we have been helping already with things around the house. God knew she would need us and placed us here ahead of time.

I am working on a project temporarily for Abstinence Clearing House, which will help some in the financial department. Please pray that my mess comes together so that I can help her.

You prayers are coveted!! (Now I will have a 21 yr old saying, "I'm BORED" along side the 12 yr old that says it frequently!! What's a mother to do! I think I am going to the house in Viborg to get ALL thoe BOARD/bored games!!)

I know in my heart God's hand is in everything and He cares for us. At the moment, it is hard to not feel quite overwhelmed!!

Dear Lord, please help these people through their trials. Please help them to be strong and brave. Please help them to persevere. Please help lighten their burden and guide them through the dark.

Dear Lord, we know that OUR wisdom is nothing. We know that YOU love us, and that all things work together for Thy greater glory. Most of all we ask that THY will be done.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I don’t know how to post a prayer request on my own, so maybe you will help me out.

Another freeper, pepperdog contacted me last night asking for prayer for her friend Jane.

Jane went into the hospital for a simple D&C, and is now in intensive care on a ventilator.

Everything that could go wrong did, plus a few other really serious things that no one could have foreseen.

Please pray for this 60ish yo lady.

May it be, Merciful Father, that in this time when You have gathered together these family members to be under the same roof, that they will be guided by the Holy Spirit to do that which is needed by each other. Cause them to reach out in love and concern to make the days and nights not only pleasant, but joyous as they await the birth of this precious child. Let nothing hinder the development of this little one, and may he be delivered in robust health. Fill the endless hours of waiting with the reading of Your Word, that Your love and Your promises might remain so fresh upon this family. Let the music reflect the joy of Your eternal care, and may each word be graced with the love and fellowship of family and friends.

And may it be, O Lord, that You will firmly implant Your Promises deep within each heart, that recalling them brings peace and assurance for their every provision. You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19) ... You have told us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, we are to let our requests be made known to You, and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6).

When the storm clouds gather, O God, remind us that You are in control ... that You will provide for our every need. Walk with this family through a time of great anxiety to a time of joyous praise, for “lo, You are with us always, even unto the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).

Touch this FReeper’s beloved mother, that her heart and her body would be refreshed through medical treatment ... grant wisdom to her medical team that all that is done would be according to Your direction. Keep each one strong and healthy, O Lord, that daily they might be renewed and sustained by Your loving grace.

To You, O God, be the Glory, for great things You have done, and continue to do.
