who is the one whose picture we should be seeing 24/7, and NOT the killer's. Definitely.
It used to be that way. Praise the good,often, but be aware of the evil for what they are..evil and then.. let it go.
My husband often reminds me of a conversation he had years ago with my grandfather, who was a very wise man. Grandpa said that the coverage of this stuff (mass murders, suicides, pedophilia, etc.) gives marginal people
ideas, and in addition because it's on TV it seems more acceptable. Hubby often mentions this conversation and I think there is a lot of truth in it.
I don't think we should hide incidents like this, but dwelling on it does give nutcases ideas.
