There was an old cartoon in The New Yorker, I believe, that showed two old, ancient guys in hospital beds, all hooked up to everthing electronic, etc. One turns to the other and says, “Man, I’m glad I quit smoking 40 years ago! I sure wouldn’t want to have missed this!”.........

I love what I saw on TV a while ago: a healthy lung and a smoker’s lung. Both in formaldehyde.

Totally off subject, but one of the nurses at the nursing home told me a joke about their older men patients -
"Do you know how we keep the older men from rolling out of bed at night?"
....
"Viagra"
I thought it was hilarious, my wife didn't get it, I had to explain it to her in the car....
