There was an old cartoon in The New Yorker, I believe, that showed two old, ancient guys in hospital beds, all hooked up to everthing electronic, etc. One turns to the other and says, “Man, I’m glad I quit smoking 40 years ago! I sure wouldn’t want to have missed this!”.........
