If a Dem wins, it’s only 4 years and they will lose everything after that again.

Don't be so quick. The 2008 elections have a critical point in their term- 2010. In 2010 we go through the standard census redistricting process. If the Dems hold the WH & Congress, you can bet that you will have enough new lines drawn to keep them in power for another decade.

You may also have to kiss the electoral system good bye as well....

People only let the Dems in because of a 3 year 24-7 anti-Bush anti-war message on all the TV channels.

Figure that they will get over that if Democrats get the WH.
They are already getting a good look at their leadership, which has been to do nothing but block the soldier’s pay and looking to have investigations to begin a scandal.

Democrats are not ready for prime time.
Their only assets are they are loud and play dirty.

They are so bad at leading though that despite what lines are drawn, they are going to lose.
They are so bad that they can’t overcome their own negative with voters long term.

People are NOT in love with socialists/communists, so Dems have a short political life IMO.

RATS in all the state legislatures are already working on circumventing the constitution regarding the electoral college by trying to vote to give all that states' electoral votes to the candidate that wins the national majority of the votes.

They figure the two coasts will be able to get a majority for the RATS.
