“Timothy Henderson, 33, was recovering Thursday from wounds he received when the bear attacked him outside his rural Tetonia home Tuesday night, about five miles from the Idaho-Wyoming border.

Henderson was reported in good condition at an Idaho Falls hospital with deep bite and claw marks on his head, shoulders, back and buttocks.”

It's Spring. The bears are coming out of hibernation. I'm headed to Yellowstone next Thursday. There are parts of the park that are off limits because of the bears. Tetonia is about 114 miles from my house. I've passed through the area on my way to Jackson Hole, WY.
